She had been planning to leave at a punctual nine o'clock, but she wasn't sure if that was going to be possible any more.
As soon as she opened the door to leave, someone had flew and crashed down onto the sidewalk in front of her, leaving a cracked imprint.
She was incredibly worried at first, as one would be after watching someone receive what should be serious injuries, but that was before she noticed what appeared to be a giant tiger arm slapped on the guy where a normal human arm should be.

Valerie and Danny are kidnapped by the GIW due to their anomalous ectoplasmic radiation readings. In the lab, they're put trough testing to determine whether or not they still count as human. Danny struggles with the cost of keeping his secrets to avoid hurting Valerie, while Valerie grapples with the real ramifications of her suit’s technology and how ghostly she's becoming. Together they must both face their truths if they want to get out alive.
