It didn’t take long for Isaac to be practically parallel to him. Max’s eyebrows creased in concern. He didn’t like that grin Isaac was sporting. The weather Medium looked down at Max, and a laugh escaped his lips.
Max understood immediately as Isaac leapt.
“Oh I should’ve known--” Max was, once again, crashed into by the club mascot. This time, however, Isaac was the one who was feeling triumphant.

Jeremy didn’t know of any other superhero that had to commute.
Sometimes he was alone when he got the text, and it was easy to slide open the window and sling on over to whatever disaster was striking the City That Could Never Catch a Break. Other times it was during things like his parent’s divorce hearings, in Hackensack, and he’d have to spend his bar mitzvah money on a cab ride to the bridge and change into his spandex in the bathroom of a Dunkin' Donuts. Even at home, he'd have to spend fifteen minutes slinging webs across highways and toll booths and the George Washington Bridge before he even saw what he was up against.
At least Christine could fly.
(or, the AU nobody asked for in which Jeremy is Spiderman and the rest of the crew has superpowers, except Michael, who has No Idea About Anything except for the fact he's Spiderman's #1 fan)

After many struggles, both internal and external, you and your found family reach the surface, only to face even more difficulties from the society you weren't sure you'd ever see again. You meet new friends and encounter people from your past, though for good or ill, you're not sure. Sometimes it's difficult to tell kindness from cunning.

*This story takes place as if Frisk played through the pacifist neutral ending. The souls are gone, Asgore is dead, Toriel is queen, and Alphys is researching a way to get above ground. They assume, after three years, that Frisk is dead.
You, being the first human to enter the Underground since Toriel instated that humans are welcome, are asked to participate in some research, so as to better understand humans. But perhaps there are other reasons?
