Summary
A little five year old girl named Devin Ashton is just like another other girl in small town Hawkins, Indiana. She likes to play with her dolls, watch T.V. with her dad, draw and color pictures of her, her dad, and her deceased mom. Devin, however, doesn't think her mother is dead. It had been nine months since she watched Billy Hargrove die. Nine fucking awful months and she still couldn’t get the image out of her head. Every time she closed her eyes, all she could see was the memory of Billy being lifted into the air and impaled, blood spurting from his lips and the wound, his eyes wide with fear and the traumatic sound of Max Mayfield screaming out his name. After the funeral, this had quickly started becoming her nights; drinking until she blacked out and or numbing herself with drugs at his grave just to get some rest, to not have that horrific image flash into her mind again…just to feel close to him again.
