Summary
Feng Xin stared in confusion, not quite knowing how to react to that scene, while Xie Lian surrendered himself into Hua Cheng's arms amidst the chaos of Mount Tonglu. He blinked several times, his face burning hotter than the lava that threatened their lives. He forced his eyes to shift hard to the side, toward Mu Qing, who was also watching the scene with blatant embarrassment. Then, something clicked in his head as he realized that, in the end, all that frustration and all that pent-up energy he had felt over 800 years with Mu Qing was... that? Was that what he wanted to do with Mu Qing? He found himself thinking about this throughout the entire final battle.
And now, with the Heavenly Capital restored, Feng Xin can't think of anything else. He can't understand why, all of a sudden, his mind can't stop thinking about what it would be like if he kissed Mu Qing like that, and how it was supposed to happen, before he went completely crazy.
Or, a story where Feng Xin discovers that the 800 years he spent fighting with Mu Qing was, in reality, the closeted desire he had for that annoying god.

Mu Qing had always hated Feng Xin. He always had.
He hated the way he swung his bow like he was all that, when he’d chew disgustingly and his stomps were always so loud. The way he spoke when he was excited made it hard for Mu Qing to look away.
But those days were in the past now. Long gone and never to resurface, pushed down with the guilt from the war and the guilt of never being able to express how he felt. That final moment and he just couldn't do it. It wouldn't come out. What was wrong with him? It was just 3 simple words wasn't it? Why could he do it?
The war was something Mu Qing never wanted to relive.
