Summary
Winter was brutal. And logically, Kai knew the flush in Beomgyu’s cheeks and the red of their lips were almost definitely from the cold. That doesn’t make it any easier to stop reading into it.

Taehyun stares at him blankly, but before Kai can retract his question, he snaps the water back on, aiming the jet straight at his face.
“What the hell?” he splutters, coughing and choking.
“Exactly,” Taehyun states, bending down so he’s staring Kai right in the eye. “What the hell, Kai?”

Summary
Yeonjun's heart skips a phantom beat in his chest. What cruel justice fate has cursed him with, to have denied to turn Beomgyu only hours before, only to be faced with the choice between that or death now. He feels completely helpless, knowing how painful the transformation would be, since Beomgyu had been almost killed by a vampire that wasn't Yeonjun - his prospective sire. It would be hellish, and Yeonjun isn't sure he has it in him to inflict that pain upon the man he loves. But what other choice does he have? Could he really sit here and watch Beomgyu die knowing he could save him?
Beomgyu's eyes shutter open, and Yeonjun gasps. "Do it," he says through cracked lips, voice hoarse and trembling. "Don't let me die. Turn me, like I've wanted you to." Tears slide down Yeonjun's cheeks as Beomgyu's eyes close again, and his breathing grows even more shallow. "I want eternity with you," Beomgyu adds in a whisper, eyes still closed. "I don't care how much it hurts."

Summary
Dark eyes flick up and are met with a scowl—all fake annoyance. Beomgyu’s lips move into that little point to try and hold back his grin, and he has Yeonjun back to thinking about the fact that maybe love at first sight isn’t real—but surely there is something between them.
Of course he doesn’t love Beomgyu. He doesn’t even know Beomgyu.
He could snore, and he could be picky. He could be annoying and overbearing and a million other things that would make them not work out.
But there’s something. It’s in Yeonjun’s chest and his fingertips and his lips and his eyes. It’s warm and fuzzy and bright.
Yeonjun moves across the world and meets the man of his dreams on the first night of his new life. But, his hope of making a one night stand into something more is shattered once his new roommate makes it clear that will never happen.
