"Did you know that tomorrow's full moon is a blood moon?" Goro says, apropos of nothing.
"Nope." Ren glances back up at the moon again. Its familiar cratered face gazes back at him patiently, but all of a sudden he feels like he's seeing it in all its loveliness for the first time. "...Are you looking at it right now?"
"Do you want me to be?" Goro shoots back, the playful dip of his voice sending Ren's stomach swooping. Do you want me to be? God, he's such an asshole.
Ren wishes Goro could hear him roll his eyes over the phone. "It's a yes or no question."
He hears rustling, and then footsteps. "Yes, I'm looking at it, too," Goro says softly.

It all made sense now. Shoko probably thought he was brain dead, but he had a girlfriend now and she didn't so whatever. He noticed now that the telltale hum in the air of Satoru's infinity had been absent even before he entered the room, and Satoru absentmindedly played with his hair, fingers brushing gently over his scalp. He was sensitive there, and buried his face further in Satoru's chest to avoid making any embarrassing noises. When he did that though, he noticed something under Satoru's shirt. He nuzzled a little closer. "Are you wearing a bra?"
Satoru blushed. "Is that unusual?"
Suguru hugged her a little tighter. "No. Is it cute?"
