    "Got me good this time." Leo murmurs, his lashes fluttering. He was so tired, whether he'd admit it or not. His shoulders had been slowly moving from their drawn up position that Rick opened the door to, now instead dropped too far down like a string has been cut, allowing him to sag under the weight of gravity.

    "Who did?" Rick whispers back, not pressing necessarily, not even meeting Leo's eyes. It helps the conversation to be kept almost casual, not letting the blond read the moment of fear in his eyes.

    "It won't do any good to call the cops, It'll only make things worse. Trust me, I know." Leo blinks a handful of times quickly, too rapid to be normal like there was an admission there.

    Slade Wilson isn't expecting much out of this winter. They escaped law enforcement by the skin of their teeth, heading to their hideout in the mountains before the pass iced over. When the spring thaw comes they'll be out of there before the Bat pack of Bounty Hunters can make their way through. Three months of boredom until their next heist, hunting nothing more exciting than some game for the stewpot.
    Jason Todd has made the kind of mistake you don't get to make twice. He's lost his horse and any chance of actually taking in the outlaws with the rest of his pack trapped on the wrong side of the mountain. His only hope is they make his death a quick one. Slade offers the closest thing to a way out; he pretends to be Slade's Omega for the winter and they won't kill him.
