Summary

Summary
Thankfully, Cortex had expected as much and simply pinched the bridge of his nose in exasperation. Honestly, he was just glad it was Crash and not something else dangerous. “Alright, out with it! Are you hungry? Need me to fix another one of your toys?”
Crash lowered his head slightly as if trying to meet Cortex’s much shorter stature. He let out a sound that to others would probably be reminiscent of a cat telling you to ‘fuck off’, but to Cortex it had another meaning entirely.
The scientist sighed, though this time in a much sweeter tone as he approached the marsupial. He raised his hands high to gently cup both sides of Crash’s face, ignoring the warning, though empty, growls he received as he scratched along the animal’s chin and neck.
(Takes place in the Tenth Dimension)

“Jess,” Crystal said, “don’t be mad at me, but…what do you actually *see* in Hugh? He seems like the *last* type of person you would be interested in.”
Jess huffed, leaning back into their seat. “You know, that’s exactly what I’m asking myself right now. When I came into the Ferris wheel car, the first thing I thought wasn’t, ‘Wow, look at how cute he is!’” they turned their head to face Crystal, “it was: ‘God, does he wear that jester outfit all the time, or does he have multiple pairs of the same outfit?’”
Crystal began to giggle; to Jess, Crystal always had such a melodic laugh.
