It was a bright, sunny day in Inkopolis. The sun shone down on the Square, like the perfect day it was.
It was two months after the Skylings were defeated and Inkopolis was restored. Everyone lived happily, and some Skylings even came to live in inkopolis now! They enjoyed playing turf wars, too, but due to rules they weren't allowed to use their wings for fairness.
Other than that, nothing had really changed. Except for one thing. Or two, maybe.

Summary
The more Akito looked at the photo at Toya, the more his heart sank. This guy was almost about to become an adult. He had so much to live for. Then everything is ripped from him in such a cruel manner. Akito's not one to get emotional about the backstory of ghosts, but this dude was basically his age! Akito wouldn't know what to do if he got murdered like at.
Akito closes the tab and jots down a simple note: be nice to him, he was murdered.
Or Akito is a ghost hunter and is supposed to get rid of Toya's spirit.

When Toya opened his eyes, he wasn’t expecting to be greeted with a window that faced an absolute galaxy of a sky. He also wasn’t expecting for his friends to be playing instruments, either. Don’t they usually just sing with instrumentals in the background?
Similarly, when An blinked, she didn’t think she’d be on a stage facing a large crowd holding lightsticks. She knew the stage well, in fact she was very used to being on one, but what she wasn’t used to was the peppy idol-like music playing in the background. That wasn’t very common in a live house… And why were she and her friends wearing idol outfits?
As Kohane rubbed her eyes, she certainly wasn’t anticipating what was essentially the most outworldly theme park she’d ever been to. Hadn’t she fallen asleep with her friends at An’s place? Why was there a literal train in the air?
Akito was certainly confused, and honestly a little concerned when he woke up in what was basically an endless void. And why did his friends look so alright with it? And was that supposed to be Miku?
Or, Vivid BAD SQUAD dreams together, but not quite together.
