How could he have not thinked of it yet?! But how was it possible? He saw him jump from the stairs over and over again. Wasn’t he supposed to be dead? The only way to know was to check for himself.

Summary
He simply could not understand it. Javert was not letting him go; that was an impossibility. It was not within the man’s capabilities. It was not in his character. It was not among the list of things that he knew how to do. Javert was France’s most well-trained hunting dog. He did not give up the scent. He would not.
Yet he had left. A frown was etched deep into Jean Valjean’s face, and a moment later, he was wide awake.
.
A thoroughly deep examination into the thought process it would realistically take for brick!Valjean to follow Javert to the Seine that night.
Now with a second chapter for Barricade Day 2026.

Summary
Dutch didn’t respond at first, as though he hadn’t really heard. When Hosea’s words finally reached him, his head snapped around to look at him. He looked disbelieving, almost confused.
“What?” He clarified, quietly.
Hosea shrugged coyly, nerves creeping in suddenly that he forcibly had to shake off, as he offered Dutch his hand and repeated himself.“Dance with me.”
---
In the spring of '76, Dutch convinces Hosea to take a detour on their journey west to experience the Mardi Gras festivities in New Orleans. Together they drink, dance, rob the people blind, and maybe begin to address the unspoken thing that's been growing between them.Bookmarked by futureb0y

Summary
Based off fanart by @lalikeslichto where they use each other's cigarette to light the other. However, I got carried away. For Some Reason it has removed all my indentions and spacing end my stupid baka life...
He looks like someone I’d love, if I let myself. Someone I’d sew myself to, a partner to accompany my life until it’s end. Someone to wake up next to, deliver me purpose and belonging. He is leaning into me and I feel my amygdala catch on fire. His eyes are closed and I slide my hand into his pockets, grabbing his cigarettes and taking a step back. I’m a fucking coward.

Summary
Her thief stole another Time Lord.
And right now, he’s falling deep (he did, had, will), down and down and down.
She’s listening, humming softly to his still pounding heartsbeat.
“Oh. Oh, old girl. I- I might be in big trouble.”
He was. The sparking fire already told her.
And there might just be something beautiful in it, buried between the sadness. Hidden deep in the meaning of together.
That’s a nice word, too. Not the one she’s looking for, but it feels quite the same.

Summary
His voice sounded cold, and the Doctor deserved the little flinch that went through him at the icy harshness of the tone. He opened his mouth a few times, but didn’t find the right words to answer, apparently. It took him eleven seconds to look away from the Master’s equally cold stare, and eleven more to finally find the right ones.
“I- I can’t help it.” Nothing more than a whisper, but clear nonetheless. And when the Doctor looked back up- ah There was a smile now, too. A big and bright and pretty one. The one the Master came to hate the most. “With you, I feel invincible.”
