Summary
Neil had been staring at Andrew’s desk for the better part of the day. Andrew was out with Renee. Doing what he didn’t know, or he had forgotten in favor of imagining Andrew rail him against his desk, imagining the edges of the desk digging into his stomach and hips. Kevin and Nicky didn’t bother him where he was sitting in one of the beanbag chairs, his brows furrowed, looking like he was contemplating committing a crime neither of them wanted to be part of, and Aaron was studying in the bedroom. Neil didn’t hear the door open, too deep in his own head to care, until he heard Andrew’s voice.
“Did someone murder your favorite exy player?” He asked as he dropped a shopping bag next to Neil and moved to sit on his desk, popping the screen off the window and opening it.
“You’re his favorite player, Andrew,” Aaron joined in from the bedroom.
“Shucks,” Andrew said, faking a sigh as he exhaled the smoke.

Neil looked up in a dumbfounded manner at his husband for suggesting a trip to IKEA.

He had woken up from a nightmare around three in the morning, almost punching Neil when he felt the touch of the younger man against his arm. He had sighed, pulling his fist back to his body, opening his palm so he could rub his face before he turned onto his side and watched Neil sleep, which had been happening for an hour at the point.

The idea of another man, specifically an older man, taking Dennis out makes something inside him burn hot and hard. It makes him see red for a few moments, jaw clenched and aching at the pressure. He breathes in slowly before letting it out and going to check on the patient in trauma one. He can’t be acting like this, he’s a grown adult.

Dennis didn’t think it would be too outlandish to theorize that Trinity herself had planned this terrible storm. Maybe she had even conspired with their landlord to not fix the heating in their decrepit building, forcing them to find other places to hunker down so as to not freeze to death. It certainly was a pointed choice for her to stay at Garcia's, knowing he wouldn’t want to go with, and thus leaving him with limited options of where to seek shelter from the ice and snow. Trinity could barely hold back her smirk when he had confirmed he would be staying at Robby’s.
