Summary
Sometimes something can only be acknowledged through it's absence. A person, A feeling, A thought. Simon discovers this all too late and finds himself trying to grapple with the idea that he's going to die without knowing. While he aches to be known and to know, he clings to the SM-13's black box unknowing of its own desperate pleas and wishes. Together, in different languages all together they both hope for the same miracle; to be saved and to be loved. When a star begins to illuminate the crimson waves of the hell they almost survived, they are both left stumbling into a limbo.
A more Simon-centric fic about living, grief and everything in between.
