Summary
The first time they’d done this, in Ilya’s bed, Shane had been mystified at Rozanov’s insistence that he not enter the nest without Shane’s permission. Now, Shane feels something akin to smugness flexing its claws in his chest. A primal satisfaction at the rightness that he is the one with the power - at present, if not for much longer - alpha just outside the nest and at his mercy.
Like Shane will only yield for someone who has earned it. He can draw out Ilya’s suffering just a little longer, make him earn it.
Shane rakes his gaze over the delicious chest and bicep muscles bunching above the edge of the nest. “Waiting for something, Rozanov?”
“Are you going to let me into your nest, omega?” His pronunciation of the endearment is more Russian than English, accent thickening around the syllables.
“Depends. You gonna give me your knot?”
“Hm, does not sound like begging yet to me.”
Some months after Shane recovers from rejection sickness in Ilya's bed, they share their heat/rut together at the cottage, both clinging to the delusion it's still casual.

Summary
A tragedy cloaked in an ill-fitting coat. Flesh bared feels too much a luxury that Akutagawa isn’t allowed but unwittingly gifted the weretiger. Akutagawa is a modern day pompeii but the weretiger still follows Akutagawa (girlhood horrors and a sadistic grasp on hamantia, onto Atsushi’s rough but lovely hand) and their twined fingers are wilted flowers.

Atsushi huffed and shook his head, letting those soft locks rub against Chuuya’s cheek. It took him a minute before his arms finally allowed him to move them to each side of the other man. He pushed his aching body up and with a lot of willpower he maneuvered himself to let the softening length slide out of him with a small hiss. The tiger rolled off of Chuuya’s body, sighing as his body hit the overly soft bedding underneath.”I’m hungry now.” He smiled brightly at the older man, watching him carefully as he sat up and leaned over. Atsushi lifted his head up to meet Chuuya half way, placing a short chaste kiss on his lips.
“Oh ya? What are you hungry for, doll?”
“Udon. Curry. Chazuke.” Atsushi droned on, “Katsudon. Pizza. Hamburger steak.”
