  Lacey and Six had one thing in common: They lost their memories and were angry about it. Nothing else was similar about the two.

  Six cared about his own personal gain, and made that obvious when he betrayed Lacey. Enslaved because of this mans greed, Lacey tries her best to fight the anger she holds inside. Not only for Six, but for the Legion. The legionnaires, Caesar, the slaves - all of them were able to picture their loved ones. Not even her mothers face remained a part of Lacey's lost memory.

  Yet a man she met there almost made things better. He was fascinating to Lacey. Intelligent, strong, and capable of listening. Something about Vulpes Inculta had bells ringing in her head. As badly as she thinks she wants him, will he let her?
