Summary
In this universe, every person has a soulmate. Soulmates can hear each other's thoughts. But this only happens if both are ready to meet. Sometimes a person may think he is not ready, but his heart thinks otherwise. Then his mind opens to the thoughts of his mate. If the soulmate doesn't want to be heard, they simply close their thoughts and hide them deeper.
They cannot exchange any specific information about each other. It doesn't work that way. They can talk about everything else, though. For example, about what emotions they felt during the day or about an upcoming meeting.
If one soulmate wants to meet their mate very badly, on rare occasions they may see some part of them in a dream. It can be eyes, hands, yes even ears - anything.
At the moment when a person's heart is ready to meet his soulmate, a sign in the form of an unopened flower appears on his chest. When they meet and touch each other's marks, these flowers blossom.
