He doesn’t hear Fox standing up, and he doesn’t see Wolffe picking up the blade. He doesn’t see him cleaning it, but he does feel it when Fox stops by his chair and takes his arm, wordlessly, pressing a bandage he pulled from his utility belt to the cut. It’s a small thing, barely bleeding after the initial flow, but Fox treats it with ridiculous care – wraps it twice like it was just inked, and pushes down like it’s cut through an artery.
Cody listens as Bly talks, in a hushed tone, recital after recital of Remembrances, Wolffe leaning on him, listening while staring off again. Fox’s palm keeps steady pressure on his arm.
Other than that, it’s all silence.
