Summary
St. Patrick’s Day, 1998. Fox Mulder comes over to Dana Scully’s apartment at quarter past ten, unannounced, half-drunk, and lonely, with a sly flask of Fireball tucked inside his thick winter jacket and a uniquely plying look on his face. He succeeds in getting her to drink with him. Over a combined total of five shots and two glasses of wine, he also succeeds in facilitating an inappropriate game of Truth or Drink- the one hundred and fifty-third most inappropriate game of Truth or Drink to be played across the continental United States that night, and the eighth most significant in terms of personal intimacy.

Summary
The file is smacked down on the desk in front of her. Scully stares at the large ‘X’ printed across its front for a long while before sighing and looking up at him, braced for her daily dose of the unfounded. She’s already skimming over the papers, so she doesn’t need to inquire into the meaning behind his clever little sales pitch. Natchez, Mississippi, reads the title doc, right in the heart of the Bible Belt. Her grandparents used to live down there. He smiles, adds, “what about reconnecting with your freak?”
