When he feels Will’s breath even out, and he braves a question. “Will? You feeling better there?”
A grumble comes first. “Mhm. ‘S nice. Feels warm. Mm. Comfy.” He answers, voice muffled. And then buries into Mike’s chest again. Mike swears he can almost feel Will’s heartbeat against him.
Mike chuckles. “Are you still in any pain? I can go get you some medicine–”
“No!” Will shrieks. Mike feels arms tug around him tighter, as if not letting him get up. Briefly, he thanks the position they’re in, barring Will from seeing the bright flush on his face.
“Oh- okay, okay. I’m not going.”
“Mm. Good. Stay. Alpha.” Will’s head rubs on his chest and Mike drowns in that growing sweet scent.

Mike exhales a seemingly heavy breath and then speaks, deep brown eyes straight into Will’s hazel and voice carrying such conviction. "I want to swear my paladin oath to you."

In a split-second decision, he looks down and sees a close bundle of little white flowers. Daisies, maybe.
Will startles. Mike had crouched down and proceeded to rip the flowers off the ground. The next moment, Mike Wheeler now had flowers in his hand, outstretched in the direction of William Byers.

What better way to turn things around than to spend his thirtieth birthday with the Party playing D&D? When Will casts an overpowered Zone of Truth spell, Mike fears the campaign is over. Except the spell doesn't target the NPC holding the key to victory—Mike is the affected creature.
What starts as an innocent evening filled with adventure quickly devolves into a humiliating display of lust as Mike answers the Party's questions about his sexual preferences and his feelings for a certain someone.
