There’s an armchair in the corner. I’ve never seen it before, is it new, Draco? It’s angled towards the bed, and noticeably free of stray bits of clothes. I think… I think its positioning might be purposeful. It’s perfect, after all, to fulfil my needs.
I make myself comfortable in the chair, draping my Cloak over me. I have to check to make sure nothing is visible, not a shoe nor a shoulder. It’s always an odd thing to look down and see nothing there, but I feel the blood and magic pounding through my veins, anticipation potent on my tongue.
I settle in for the long haul. I don’t mind waiting. I’ll wait as long as I have to. For you.
