Summary
The soft knock on the attic door barely broke through Logan’s muffled sobs. He didn’t bother lifting his face from the tear-soaked pillow. “Not now, Kimi!” he barked, voice cracking under the weight of emotions he’d been trying to suppress. The door creaked open anyway.
Kimi’s voice was small, hesitant. “I heard Dam yelling at you. Are you okay?”
“I said, not now!” Logan snapped, but his chest tightened when he heard the shuffle of small feet approaching anyway.
“I’m sorry you’re sad,” Kimi whispered, climbing onto the bed with him. “I miss Sire too... but please don’t leave me like he did.”

Summary
“The pups want to go out, but they can’t if no one takes them.” Oscar quickly manipulates the answer. “And... and we’re already late. Bye, Dam. Bye, Sire.” Ollie simply mimics his brother and runs after him before the apartment door closes. “I swear if you screw up today, you’ll have to deal with me, Ollie.” Oscar warns, pressing the elevator button impatiently. Ollie nods fervently. “Where do I drop you?”
“Hm… huh…” Ollie stammers, pulling out his phone and quickly scrolling through the chat. “LooLoo.” He shows Oscar the address Gabriel sent. Oscar rolls his eyes, reversing course and muttering a curse. “What?”
“We’re going to the same place.” Oscar grumbles.

Summary
“Let me go right now or I’ll scream, Verstappen!”
“Don’t be an idiot. I’m not holding you because I enjoy it.” Max retorts. Charles raises an eyebrow in disbelief and scorn. “Those stickers have been past their sell-by date for ages. I’m covering your omega scent with mine.” He replies sharply.
Charles swallows hard. He’s going to smell like Max if the force with which the blonde rubs his right wrist against Charles’s wrists is any indication. But it’s preferable to smelling like an omega. “Okay.” He whispers, relaxing his wrists in the blonde’s grip. Max ignores him. The Dutchman’s touch doesn’t waver. He’s relentless in masking the sweet notes with the citrusy smell of lemon and mint.
Smell of rain.
Charles blinks incredulously. His nose crinkles again. Max smells like rain. That’s the base of the alpha’s entire fragrance.
“Please don’t go into heat here.”
