    Cheek still pressed against the table, Izuku sniffs back the tears that have steadily begun to rise, bits down hard on the inside of his cheek to keep them there.

    Tears won’t help him now just like they’ve never helped him in the past.  He can cry later, when he’s home alone in his ramshackle little apartment and there’s no one around but his notebooks to hear him.

    He’s already given these people so much tonight.

    They won’t be getting this from him too.

    All he has to do now is sit and wait and take the chance to gather his strength for what’s to come.

    Someone will show up eventually and then he can do what he needs to do to get himself back out of this mess.

    Because Izuku has a trump card that he knows for a fact none of them are going to see coming.

    Not even Eraserhead.

    Jason recognizes the kid on the news, he realizes, when he idly glances up from his book to the TV playing silently in front of him.

    That’s not unusual, per say.

    Kids from Crime Alley, from the Narrows? They make the news all the time, and he knows, or knew, a lot of ‘em. They’re always warnings, tragic and broken, and even if they don’t use the kids’ names, he can usually recognize the faces the headlines are paired with.

    They aren't usually being labeled as "domestic terrorists" on national television, though. But maybe Percy Jackson's just always been an outlier. Jason remembers he was a pretty weird kid, from the very few times they met.

    Follow Percy as he goes through life as a son of the bat and of the sea.

    Or, my Percy Jackson/DC crossover because there are both a lot but not enough fics.

    Mainly focuses on the bat-side of his life since we already know what happens in the demigod side. A few fics will be in other characters POV but it’s mostly in Percy’s.
