Summary
The Goblin Nation has fallen. The Avengers have been fully debriefed on Peter's predicament with the so-called "Superior Spider-man" though they seem wary and loathe to forgive him entirely just yet. Otto Octavius is gone from Peter Parker's body and mind... but is he really? Peter's mind has been strained to its limits. He's starting to think he's hearing voices. Who better to go to than the one person who might actually understand that? The one person who would forgive him anything? Since ancient times, therianthropes have co-existed with mankind, sharing both their history and the path to the future. Sometimes revered as Gods, like Egypt's beloved Bast, but more often feared as devils for their ability, these gifted people have become known simply as therians, rare individuals with the ability to take the shape of an animal. If nothing else, time has taught them to live by the rules of the humans or risk being ostracized from society as untrustworthy trash.
And then came The Turn, wiping out huge chunks of the populations of both therians and humans alike.
Daryl Dixon and his Coyote have been surviving well enough on the edge of their all too human pack, but more and more of late the Coyote inside him has been yearning for more from Rick than any wild blooded therian has the right to ask of a human. Still, the damn mutt keeps insisting there’s more to Rick than meets the eye.

Rick's world has collapsed. Injured and mentally and emotionally staggering after the fall of the prison his only priority is keeping Carl safe. If not for Michonne - with her unique way of dealing with the world that they now live in and the growing friendship between her and Carl - Rick isn't sure they would have made it this far. Only days from Terminus, Rick can only hope that some of their family made it out of the prison. He's finding that holding on to that hope is getting harder and harder by the minute.
