“Shane, did you hear anything I just said?”
“Hmmm? Yeah. Of course. For sure.”
The look Rose gave him heavily implied she was not buying it. “You want to summarize for me then?”
Shane put his phone face down on the table and turned his body towards his ex-wife who is sitting across from him. “You need to switch weeks this summer because of your filming schedule.”
“Close but missing some essential info. I need you to come stay in LA with Genie for all of July because she committed herself to that hockey camp your mom not-so-subtly encouraged her to sign up for. My re-shoots that were meant to be in August got rescheduled so I won’t be in town. If you want her to come to Ottawa in August, we can figure something out but I’ll want the time with her since I’ll be missing July.”

Summary
Paris, 2024. The Summer Olympic Games. Thousands of athletes, each from different walks of life, united by a common objective: bring home the gold for their country.
Charlie Spring never thought he would be performing on such a large stage, even though he's one of the fastest sprinters Team Great Britain has to offer. Now that he's made it to Paris, though, he's determined to prove to the world (and himself) that he deserves to be competing among the best of the best.
He just can't let himself be distracted by the young star of his nation's rugby team, who befriends him after their paths cross on Charlie's first evening in the Olympic Village (and who he totally does not have a crush on).
