Summary

"Isn't it a bit late for something so sweet?"
"On the contrary, this is the perfect time. I need something sweet and warm to make me sleepy so I can sleep better."
Wonwoo seemed to think about it, remaining silent for a moment before speaking again, a pout evident in his voice. "And am I not sweet and warm?"

"You're so easy to break, Kwon Soonyoung," Wonwoo releases the wound, leaving it open, and moves away from his chest to straighten up and look down at him. "You're a human, after all."
With his vision blurred by tears, he can't fully make out Wonwoo's expression, but Soonyoung knows he's looking at him with that smug grin of his that makes his blood boil. With his eyes sparkling with amusement, his nose wrinkled, and his mouth slightly twisted to the side, fangs sticking out. Soonyoung hates how he can't even defend himself a little. All the strength left his body the moment Wonwoo dragged him into his study room.
He wants to tell Wonwoo to fuck off. That he hates him with all his might and will one day kill him one way or another. That despite Wonwoo's supernatural nature, Soonyoung can also break him in the same way. But he doesn't say any of that. He just stays put and obediently takes whatever Wonwoo gives him because that's what he's there for.

After a few minutes, he hears Wonwoo's footsteps coming down the hallway and stopping behind the door. He sees the handle move for a second before it stops, and just as he's about to ask what's wrong, he hears Rosalina meow.
"Can I have sex with my boyfriend, please?" he hears Wonwoo say. "Be a good girl and don't meow or break anything, please. Dad will give you treats later if you behave."
Soonyoung slaps his face with his hand, his cheeks burning with embarrassment. The vampire finds incredible how Wonwoo actively avoids calling himself 'daddy' because he thinks it's embarrassing. But apparently, asking the cat not to bother him so they can have sex isn't embarrassing at all.

Soonyoung was the storm.
From childhood friends to high school sweethearts, Wonwoo and Soonyoung grow together as they both find success in their careers - Wonwoo a prolific scholar and Soonyoung a successful solo artist. Soonyoung was never any good at loving anyone though, and they ultimately grow apart. Soonyoung abandons his family and his career to live quietly in Boston, MA, numb to his feelings. He resigns himself to a life of exile, the one he thinks he deserves.
He never expects his past to catch up with him so far from home.
