Her breathing was always a bit rough, like she’d been running, and foamy blood-spit frothed between her oversized teeth when she spoke. “Fight me for it! You’re not avoiding it a second day in a row!”
Hellen began to stand. Her weary body creaked. “Alright.”
Leigh gawked at her. She backed up when Hellen stood to her full height. She pulled her knife out just the same way she did yesterday. Some part of her expected the woman to retreat once again. To her disappointment, her eyes went huge and her impossible grin widened. She giggled between words, euphoric. “R-really? So you’re not a coward after all!”

Summary
After a day of deep spring cleaning in the Dremurr household ends with Tenna accidentally being thrown away, things can’t seem to get much worse for the beloved television set. That is until a scrapper by the name Elwood Pry finds him and brings him back to his workshop promising a full restoration. Scared of becoming obsolete and abandoned, Tenna happily agrees, unaware that he’s just signed his own death warrant. Elwood doesn’t restore classic pieces of technology: he guts them, rips them apart for scrap, and sells the parts to demanding buyers. An old CRT like Tenna is sure to fetch a pretty price.
