Summary
Riverfield was a nice place. A little suburb, resting on an ocean shore, just outside of a bigger city. The kind of place where middle-upper class families lived happy lives with a white picket fence, two children, and a dog. The kind of unsuspecting place where everyone left their doors unlocked, and trusted their neighbors not to poison the fruitcake.
There was one peculiar thing about this town though, and that was that no one remembered October.

The thing about being a taxi driver is that you can’t be late, but you’re always going to be.
And that’s something Park Jeongseong, or Jay, knew well. He was good with time management. If someone got in the car and said they needed a 30 minute drive to happen in 15, he could make it happen.
Though he never seemed to be on time when it came to his own life.

If there’s one thing Sakusa Kiyoomi can rely on to make sense in the world, it’s numbers.
Statistics, percentages, pages upon pages of nothing but the outrageous sums of money that stroll in and out of some of the higher-end companies of the city. He likes having all the numbers spread out in front of him so that he can unfocus his eyes and take in the information. He likes scanning lines of texts that would make most people’s head spin and picking out the important bits.
Numbers are a certainty in Kiyoomi’s sphere, and he likes certainties.
He also likes the satisfying pop of a bullet leaving the chamber of the silenced 1911 platform his father always favored.
(sakusa is an accountant and a hitman, and atsumu isn't quite his new overly friendly coworker)

Summary
Sunghoon finds himself in a run-down bar on the outskirts of the city after a failed date. It’s late, and the bartender is already urging him to call it a night. But Sunghoon, ever stubborn, refuses to leave—not until he hears a story. Sunoo isn’t much of a storyteller, but if a customer insists, he’s willing to indulge them with a tale or two. Whether or not it ends happily… well, that’s never up to him.

Summary
The last place on earth Sakusa Kiyoomi wants to be is on this godforsaken ship sailing across the seas to attend a boring science lecture, but it is a necessary evil if he wishes to avoid attending his grandmother's birthday celebrations.
That is, until his ship is boarded by a band of pirates and Kiyoomi finds himself in extremely unwanted company.
He can cope with most of the rambunctious crew; though they're armed to the hilt, they're relatively harmless.
He cannot, however, cope with human hurricane Miya Atsumu.
