Summary
The Might of Lilith explodes and Vox has a front row seat to the destruction he has wrought.
Except he's not dead. He's alive in his office and watching Charlie Morningstar's disastrous interview live on screen, exactly one year before Pentagram City is reduced to ash.
He can work with this. All he has to do is stay away from that stupid hotel for a year and everything will be fine.
Unfortunately, a certain Radio demon has opinions about his old pal ignoring his return.

Summary
For a moment, Alastor doesn’t recognize the soul chain around his neck nor the caged power he once wielded. He wonders whether this persistent sensation of burning, heaviness, and familiarity is the closest he’ll ever get to dying again. And yet, Vox is right there in front of him, isn’t he? With his ridiculous proposal and all the pathetic admiration he remembers having shattered once before.
The world, stupidly, gives him a second chance. So, he decides to do what any demon would do to make it even more entertaining!
or: Alastor apparently dies from the massive angelic weapon along with all of Hell, but somehow he returns to the past just as Vox offers his partnership proposal.

Summary
Vox has hit rock bottom, and Alastor isn't about to miss the chance to kick him while he's down. Besides, Vox always bounces back no matter what happens, which is what makes their little rivalry so entertaining.
Except Vox isn't fighting back. The reaction that Alastor is used to is replaced with this blank, peaceful look that makes Alastor’s skin crawl.
No matter how much Alastor pushes or prods, he can't get a single rise out of him. It’s entirely wrong. It’s not Vox. And worst of all? It’s not fun. Because the game only works if both sides are playing.

Summary
Following a crushing defeat that stripped him of his empire, his pride, and his very sense of self, Vox finds himself at the lowest point he has ever known. Hollowed out and untethered, he is forced into the unwelcome "hospitality" of the Hazbin Hotel.
Alastor, however, is far from pleased with this change of heart. Disgusted by Vox’s sudden lack of spark, the Radio Demon decides to show his cruelest side. But as Vox begins to navigate Charlie’s world of redemption and second chances, he starts to find something he never expected: a family ready to help him pick up the rusted pieces of his life.
*
*
In other words: Vox feels empty and dissatisfied with himself, and decides to play along with Charlie’s games in a sort of personal redemption. Alastor will be quite the cruel bastard until he realizes he’s actually being a fool and a coward, blinded by his own fear of feelings.

Summary
Hell goes boom, Alastor feels sorry. Somehow he's alive again, 70 something years into the past before his relationship with Vox truly crumbled. Will he be able to change the future, or will his pride get in the way of his very needed character development?
Or
RadioStatic time travel fix-it AU. Alastor has internal fights with himself constantly and Vox is confused why Alastor is specifically only calling him Vincent now. I mean he likes it, but it's odd.
Or
Author's apology for all her unfinished works, she swears this one will have an ending. Pinkie swear.
