Summary
Manousous tunes the portable radio to 8.6130 KHz. He beckons Carol into the cage and seals the door. It does nothing for a little while. Carol feels the weight of impending failure ripening in her stomach. Then a fizzle. The four beats turn to static, and the radio cuts out intermittently. Carol cheers, whooping excitedly. Manousous startles, and Carol riles him up.
“This – oh my god, we did it!”
Manousous doesn’t understand her words. But he does understand her emotions. He feels them, himself. He grins, whooping simultaneously.

Deplurbed Zosia, because it's all my brain can think of recently, apparently. This is a write of what I think the process and aftermath would be. This will probably immediately become non canon-compliant the second s2 comes out, but we've got two years until then.

Summary
Just a slow burn Bartender AU
Carol Sturka is a sad (possibly pathetic), usually drunk, grumpy 53 year old author. She spends 4-7 days a week hanging out at the local lesbian bar ‘The Hunnycomb’. Where she flirts, drinks and crushes hard… on the Bartender.
Zosia Wydra is that bartender. A ex model that is all smiles, hopelessly in love with Carol, and absolutely terrified of loosing a friendship. To make matters worse, she promised her best friend (Koumba) that she’d bring Carol as her date, but problem is… they aren’t together… yet.
Can they get their act together and finally go after what they want? Or will Carol’s insecurities from her past get in her way? Will Zosia finally takes what she wants?

Summary
Novelist Carol Sturka is still grieving the loss of her beloved wife when the management at her publishing house force her to work with a new manager on her Europe/UK book tour after the disaster that was her US tour.
Shenanigans ensue.

“You call being forcefully escorted out of an establishment after engaging in a physical altercation with a member of the public an incident?”
Carol winced.
“Is arriving late to most of your events and then refusing to sign a paying customer’s copy because she has ‘a weird energy’ an incident? Is—”
“I get the idea,” Carol interrupted. “Can you just?” Her hand facing downwards, she gestured for him to calm down and sit down. Her palm had left a sweaty impression on the ridiculous table. She collapsed back into the chair and let out a heavy sigh.
