The clink of glass filled the stale, still air. Jeongin shifted on his feet. His sleepiness slowly waned, fading into the background as he realized Chan was being serious.
“Can’t you just do it tomorrow?”
“No, it’s alright. You can go on back to sleep, Innie-yah. Hyung will go to sleep after he’s done.”
Jeongin narrowed his eyes. He saw the tremble of his arms. He saw the way Chan’s body seemed to sag and beg for its owner to lay down. He saw the things Chan was trying to cover up, whilst failing poorly, and Jeongin didn’t like it one bit.
“Hyung,” he tried again, softer, “I think maybe—”
“No, Jeongin. I’m fine.”

Summary
Seungmin feels like he's floating.
Everything is submerged in a soft, white fizz, like sea foam, blurring the edges of his vision and dragging him further into the depths of his subconscious. It slowly becomes dark. Cold. When he sinks down, strong arms wrap around his waist, but it feels as though he simply slips through.
He tries to fight it, but it's no use.

Sometimes it seems too much to even breathe.
Sometimes, the weight of responsibility and expectation weighs so heavily on Jisung’s shoulders that even getting out of bed seems like a monumental task. It’s on those days that his thoughts are muddy and syrupy slow, everything hidden behind a thick curtain of fog and exhaustion. Even just remembering that yes, there is something he should be doing is enough for the pounding behind his eyes to increase, the helplessness to rise up, and the tightening behind his ribs to worsen.

those are the constants of life in the city, scraping together pennies just to keep paying the rent. there isn't much else to do but work when the government has eyes everywhere and dancing is banned everywhere except for the small dance studio minho had once taught out of, the studio you can't justify forcing him to let go of any more than you can afford to pay for it.
and then someone from your past appears, and all your constants are thrown out the window; except for lee minho. who lives on your couch and definitely not in your bed. -
