Summary
"Peter," Matt gurgled, grunting as he scrambled for something in his suit before shoving it into Peter's hands, "call Claire."
The phone was ancient, warm and sticky with blood from Matt's hands.
"Claire," Peter mumbled to himself, fumbling with the burner, "call Claire, okay I'll-"
Peter noticed Matt's groaning had stopped dead, hands limp at his sides and head rolled to the side in a way that made Peter feel sick.
To Peter's dismay, the only number in the phone did not belong to anyone called Claire. It was titled 'Pete' and Peter was repeating a mantra of "shit" and "oh no" as he figured he might as well dial the number anyway, no other idea of what to do or who to call in his panicked state. His hands shook violently as he lifted the phone up to his ear and slapped at Matt's face in an attempt to rouse him.
"Matt! Matt-? Come on, Matt, wake up!"
"What?" a gruff male voice answered, tinny in the shitty phone speakers. Whoever it was didn't sound particularly pleased about being contacted, but Peter didn't have time to worry about that.

Matt gets shot. Peter accidentally calls Frank. Peter realises Matt and Frank have something going on, and also they are his parents.

Spider-Man shifts his gaze to Peter. “You good, buddy? You look like you’re having an aneurysm.”
Johnny giggles. “He thinks this is super weird because he’s not dating his Johnny, duh,” he says, batting a hand at Spider-Man. “I bet he’s internally freaking out right now. It’s what you would do.”
Spider-Man cocks his head. “You’re not dating your Johnny?”
Peter startles back to life. “No!” he exclaims.
Peter meets a version of Johnny that’s dating him. He’s totally normal about it and doesn’t freak out at all.

Or, Johnny’s secret tattoo goes public, Peter can’t stop thinking about it and the whole entirety of New York thinking they are dating doesn't help.

Summary
Starts with the events of Marvel Knights 4, where the FF's money is all swindled away, and they lose their home, so Johnny and Peter become roommates.
Johnny’s determined to prove to Reed, Sue, and Ben–-and most of all himself–-that he can pull this off, that he can stand on his own two feet, that he’s not just a pampered playboy, so he’s willing to do whatever it takes.
He’s never spent so much time around Peter before. He’s never had a chance to see Peter’s life close up or realize what an amazing person he really is, and not just because of his ability to pull off skintight spandex.
Eventually, he realizes. Maybe he had to lose all of the things he thought he needed in order to find the one thing he's always wanted.
