Summary
Plum let out a breathy laugh and Gale could feel it close by, on his neck and jaw. He didn’t open his eyes, he trusted Plum. His lips and nose brushed against Gale’s cheek, and when he hovered there, Gale turned gently into him. They kissed and Gale held onto Plum’s waist. Plum’s body felt softer under his fingertips than Gale expected. He pulled Gale closer, pulling him forward on the counter, his lips dropped to Gale’s neck, leaving small, chaste kisses, but his hands pressed into Gale’s bare thighs, and Gale could feel Plum’s breath fanning out over his shoulder. And Gale always found himself getting preemptively excited. He thought about Plum fucking him right here.

Lucius didn’t respond, only set another perfect roll next to Stede’s leg and lit his own. “S’ready for you when you want it.” But Stede hadn’t finished his first yet. He wasn’t sure if he wanted another, like one would be fine but two might kill him if he thought hard enough about it. Stede swallowed as he looked down at it, then took another deep breath, took in the smoke while using Lucius’s breathing exercises from class. “Even if he does look like he could kill someone, I kinda don’t mind.” Lucius snorted.
“Hm?”
“I mean, come on, he is a bit of a looker. Even a totally straight man could see that.” He gave Stede a certain look when he said that, and it set a sinking feeling in his chest only for a second before he shook it away, like when you wake up feeling like you're free falling, and it’s terrifying for a split second before you’re just left feeling a bit heavy.

Stede joins a yoga class taught by Lucius where he meets Ed. This, of all things, sends him into his mid-life crisis.

Summary
Being in his closet was….odd also, intimate in a different way than knowing how someone liked to be kissed was intimate. As expected, it was perfectly tidy, organized to the highest of standards although Vlad wasn’t sure he’d know if it wasn’t. He plucked the first gown he saw and closed the closet door again. Little misshapen pots with odd clumps and fingerprints sat on his dresser there, and Vlad stared for a little too long. Twilight crept through the heavily curtained windows, and he moved to pull them together as tightly as possible before making Viago sit up, tossing the gown over his head. He curled in on himself with a smile, as if the chill of being naked actually affected his body in the slightest.

He looked Richie up and down, a slight smirk tugged at one side of his lips and he said, “You put on weight.”
“What?” He heard Eddie perfectly fine, but he just couldn’t believe that was what actually came out of his mouth. Richie’s heart beat faster, and he tried his best to focus on his breathing, just like he’d done with Jessi.
“Shit, I mean— Not like in a bad way. Fuck.” Eddie was panicking now too. His face went red, and his hands started flailing in all different directions as he spoke. “You just got bigger, grew up, you know? I know how much you hated being so skinny.” Eddie took a deep breath, grounded himself, and continued, “You look good, is what I meant to say.”

Richie and Eddie are now twenty-seven and haven't seen each other for the past decade. They dance around each other for six awkward chapters.
