Summary
For Grantaire, forever was Enjolras.
To lay beneath an eternal sun, loving and being and breathing together until the the sky turns black with overuse, that was all that Grantaire wanted. That was what Grantaire thought would happen too, until Enjolras passes out while home alone, and then suddenly the future became full of uncertainties, and the ever-growing possibility that Enjolras may not be with him for very long at all.
After all, June is fresh and newly born in the air, but under the bluest of cloudless skies, Grantaire may as well be dying too.

There was one thing Grantaire found surprising about dating Enjolras. Well… that might be a lie. There were several. But one of the most surprising things was how perfectly composed Enjolras was so awkward about affection.
It was honestly sweet to see him at a loss for something so simple.
But Grantaire was happy to have a part in helping him figure it out. However, sometimes he liked to take advantage of it. Who could blame him when he looked like that when he blushed? So he decided to make a game of it.
Basically 5 times Grantaire made Enjolras blush and 1 time Enjolras made Grantaire blush

The name surfaced from somewhere deep and buried under years of carefully constructed normalcy. The face above him blurred and shifted in his failing vision, and for one breathless, impossible moment it was him. Older, harder, scarred in ways Ryland's memory didn't account for, but him.
Oh, Ryland thought, with the strange, floating calm of someone who understood they were dying. You came to get me.
