Summary
The gloved hand gently tipped your chin upwards, wanting you to look up at them. It was nothing but darkness, nothing. It made your stomach churn with uneasiness, uncertainty. You knew it had to be done, you made a promise to them. Even if it meant sacrificing everything you were and had been.
You were more than willing to do it for them. If it meant giving up your life for it, then so be it. Of course though, the universe wasn't going to let you go that easily. What fun would that be?
