Summary
You are a human in a world run by monsters. They don’t bother hiding most of their monstrous traits, but they do adhere to a strict roster of theatrical and performance roles. They’re given names at birth, but choose their role as they mature. Anything from Noh and Kabuki from the east, to Commedia dell’arte, there are roles to be filled. This includes mystical roles such as the major arcana and playing cards. All monsters cover their faces as a show of propriety and respect for the old ways, but they also keep humans as pets and food livestock. There are many ferals still, hidden in back alleys and forests or disguised as monsters. Fresh, feral blood is a delicacy. At least monsters have found a way to synthesize human flesh to ensure their diet is sustainable should humans become a threatened species (which has happened in the past), but many still indulge in the hunt.
Unfortunately, even while disguised as a monster yourself, you have attracted the attention of a hunter. Fortunately, or unfortunately, he wishes to devour you in a completely different way.

Summary
MC and Pierrot have bonded over the past week, following his sudden appearance in her life. In this time, Pierrot has managed to juggle both his selfish desire to visit her as often as possible as well as keep the rest of the circus off their scent (at least, that's what he tells himself). However, the frequent visits to the spooky circus have worn MC out. She wants more from this mystic clown of a man that effortlessly monologues about his deep affection for her.

Just a one shot with a dark turn my other Pierrot fic could have taken, ADamselette and her Pierrot.
Monsters dont divorce. Monsters are teeth, claws and power. Poor you with your all too human flesh, can you bear the brunt of his full species differences? Withstand the need to drag you back with claws, teeth and hips?
Hopefully the bun in your oven keeps him from going overboard.
