Summary
Astarion makes a big show of his displeasure at having to leave his comfortable perch, but he jumps down to join Karlach on the ground regardless; in response, she drops the pig's head and pouch, readying herself to catch him. He lands soundly at her feet, and although feather fall keeping him from shattering his ankles, he still allows himself to stumble forward and into her waiting arms. They're covered in blood and viscera, yes, but they're Karlach's, and that's all that truly matters.
