    Regulus Black came to Puerto Rico for the peace and quiet - early morning swims, salty air, the kind of stillness that lets him feel like himself again. He did not come for some golden surfer boy with a loud laugh and a habit of tripping over his own feet. And yet… there’s James Potter.

    James is in town for the summer with his best mate Sirius (who swears he and Regulus used to get along, somehow), but he’s a little too busy falling headfirst for the mysterious guy who always walks the beach like he’s part of the tide.

    Cue the shared coconuts, flirty grins, and a lot of “accidental” touches. One’s got ocean water in his veins and poetry in his bones; the other can’t sit still, talks a mile a minute, and is suddenly very invested in beach walks at sunrise.

    It’s slow, it’s soft, it’s the kind of summer that sneaks up on you - and before they know it, Regulus is learning how to surf (badly), James is learning how to shut up (also badly), and the both of them are falling in love under the Puerto Rican sun.
