Summary
As winter hit in earnest, Merlin started to fade away before Arthur's eyes. Arthur took advice from Gwen to figure out why his manservant regularly seemed to lose himself to something they couldn't see. Leaving the episode to play out resulted in Merlin admitting to a fear that Arthur hadn't realized he had, as if Arthur would ever let anything hurt his best friend. He would kill anyone who tried — he just needed to make sure Merlin knew that too.

"Hard to believe they're lying when their legs are shaking so badly. Usually have my fingers in them, too, can feel them clench around me and all. Hottest shit ever. You're just jealous 'cause you don't know how to make someone come." Lando's mouth had curled into a filthy smirk while he ran his tongue over his bottom lip, using his ring and middle finger to briefly mimic fingering someone.
Oscar swallowed hard. He knew damn well he could get someone off, and didn't particularly feel like defending that in the middle of a packed nightclub - but there was no way Lando wasn't just talking himself up.
