I felt something tug at the corners of my mouth, as the helpless feeling came over me again. After a few seconds I realized it must have been a smile. The woman’s eyes darkened, and I felt like the room had grown a little quieter.
“I’m sorry,” I managed to get out, fighting with my mouth to get the words to form properly.

The KDJ amnesia recovery fic no one asked for. KDJ somehow convinces himself that he's dating YJH in the process, and no one ever tells him the truth. Things escalate from there. (Don't let the summary fool you it's not very angst focused)
