Summary
Killian is about to be married to his arranged mate. It isn't much, but he's more than ready to be mated. All he wants is to have children, and ensure that his father's company passes on to his future alpha pup. Only days before, however, the omega is kidnapped by unknown perpetrators. Luckily, Killian escapes, fighting through a thunderstorm and untamed wilderness to make it to a secluded farm.
Unfortunately, that farm is run by a hermit of an alpha, who wants nothing to do with him. Struggling to acclimate to a life far different from his usual level of comfort, Killian does his best to adjust without irritating the farmer. But life without air conditioning, a television, and a telephone is difficult, and the only comfort the omega has ends up becoming the hermit himself.
Killian knows there is no future for him on a farm, let alone with an alpha old enough to be his father. He knows his arranged mate is waiting for him when he gets back. But he also knows there isn't anything that makes him feel the way the farmer does.... And sometimes knowing something isn't as fun as making poor decisions.
