Full, real reality benders are few and far between. But you hear stories. They know too much and see too much and it makes them go insane. All the secrets of the universe in one human mind.
I loved her, and her manifestation as a reality bender wouldn’t change that. No matter how scared everyone else was of her, thinking she’d do terrible things to them, I knew she wouldn’t do that. At least not to me. I still loved her, and I hoped there was enough of her left to still love me. To ground her, and most importantly to keep her sane. I wouldn’t lose her. I couldn’t let that happen.

This is very self-indulgent but im practically crying scrolling through eldritch stuff and its nearly all tentacle porn. like im not saying its bad but all i want is to read about someone having a good friendly relationship with an eldritch creature because i think they are very cool and would be very fun to talk to. however i never find that so ive written it myself

Batman’s rule against metas in Gotham wasn’t exactly law. He had a preference for it, though, as a risk calculation—less meta activity meant fewer variables for his rogues to exploit, fewer catastrophes waiting for the right trigger. That was what Danny had heard, anyway.
Crow heard the rule “No Metas in Gotham” and enforced it. If you weren’t a local Gothamite… you didn’t survive in his care. Ever.
…Which is exactly why Danny went looking for him.
He had to know what Crow would do to him. How he’d kill Danny.
And he’d done it!
He succeeded in catching Crow’s attention!

Izuku’s head was filled with rage, and he jammed the tip of his gun against Dynamight’s chin. “Watch your tone, Hero.”
Dynamight held his gaze as he parted his lips, and Izuku watched as he took the gun into his mouth, rubbing his tongue along the bottom.
Izuku’s gaze darkened, and he switched off the safety.
Dynamight didn’t break eye contact as Izuku slowly pushed the loaded gun deeper into his mouth. The end brushed against the soft palate of his throat, and he gagged.
Dynamight kept his eyes on Izuku, screaming defiance and daring him to pull the trigger.
