Summary
No one stopped Collei from asking after Zandik. The Gandharva Ville residents assumed she was trying to avoid him, and regularly marked out, to her, his general vicinity. She stalked him to reassure herself that she was quieter.
Il Dottore's son (Zandik) was here in Gandharva Ville and Collei despied him greatly. (They have some common ground: they're both big fans of Tighnari.)
“If I ingest an aphrodisiac,” Zandik said, “And prostated myself at Tighnari’s feet, do you think he’d have sex with me as a medical procedure?”
“He’d lock you in a room and ask you to wait it out,” Collei said. “I’m telling Master Tighnari that you spoke about drugs.”

Okay, she feels like saying – and? There wasn’t any way he could be rehabilitated. She was sure. It had to be something innate to him, like a parasite taking on a host. Summary
Rudo wished he stayed in bed today.
Suffering from a horrible headache Rudo manages to still get dragged out of his room and onto a mission by none other than his mentor and teacher, Zanka. The prick had a way of making him actually want to learn something, a skill truly necessary when dealing with teenagers, especially one such as Rudo.
Loading into the company van team Akuta gets to hear about supposedly smart trash beasts, unknowing of what lay in wait and unsuspecting of the grousome injury one of them was about to suffer.

Rudo gets horribly injured on a job, is a little spitefull shit about it, and realises that maybe Zanka isn't all that bad of a guy.OR, OR:

“Where exactly are you headed with this?” The woman on the other end of the line sounded suspicious.
“Well, I found a dead sphereite out in no man’s land… and now there’s a pint-sized trash beast following me around. Here kid, say hi.” Enjin leaned down closer to his level, thumbing that weird collar.
Rudo gave it his best shot and let out a terrible metallic shriek. Enjin pulled back away, grimacing.
“So, yeah. I’m bringing him home. Make sure everybody knows not to kill on sight, ‘kay?”

Rudo dies before Enjin can find him after the fall. He’s too angry to stay that way.
