Summary
Without the diary incident in second year, Voldemort and his horcruxes remain a secret just as he intended. The Golden Trio, desperate to find a way to defeat him after Dumbledore’s death, travel back in time to 1943. There, they search for the boy who will one day become the Dark Lord and encounter many kinds of lethal snakes wearing masks- - the worst of which might just be Tom Riddle.
Harry has no reason to suspect him at first. Voldemort has to be a Pureblood right? Riddle is magically powerful, sure, but he’s also the complete opposite of him: Muggleborn, kind, and helpful to all. Harry’s scar doesn’t even react when he’s near.
But while Harry and his friends have been so focused on finding Voldemort, they fail to realize that Riddle has been hunting them as well. By the time Harry figures it out, will it be too late?

Summary
In another world, Harry never crossed paths with the Ravenclaw ghost, and the Battle of Hogwarts was lost. Ten years on, the Resistance teeters on the edge of defeat.
In a desperate bid to destroy the remaining Horcruxes, Harry assumes the identity of Snape’s apprentice in order to infiltrate Voldemort’s regime. The mission depends on remaining unnoticed. The Dark Lord, however, seems determined to notice him.

2/40; well-written prose, intriguing premise!
Looking down directly into Harry’s face, Snape said slowly, “It would be both very difficult and very dangerous. It would require precision, and patience, and discipline. You would have to act the part convincingly. You would have to follow my instructions, without deviation. Do you think that you could manage that?”

Summary
A month into their seventh year, a mysterious new student joins Slytherin - charming, handsome, smart, and just a little too perfect.
But Harry and Hermione are not fooled. There’s something increasingly suspicious about him.
When his heroic instincts take over, Harry volunteers to become a spy and crack the flawless facade.
The fact that Harry has an utterly distracting obsession with Tom’s hands has absolutely nothing to do with it. Right?

1/1; effortless humor honestly
Everyone was talking about Tom again - how smart he was, how brilliant, how painfully beautiful, how he basically farted stardust. The usual.

Summary
The second time Voldemort strikes Harry Potter with the Killing Curse, it fails in a new way.
This time, instead of ending a life, it creates one.
—The eyes are Harry’s, obviously. The texture, the wildness of the jet-black hair, that’s Harry’s, too. A trait from Lily, a trait from James.
But the rest… The shape of the face, the nose, the mouth… The more Harry looks at the boy’s sleeping face, the more he sees Tom Riddle in miniature.
A trait from Lily, a trait from James…
And the rest from their murderer.

1/27/?; well color me intrigued!
The baby has wide, impossibly vivid Avada Kedavra green eyes, and it is crawling toward Harry Potter with as much confidence and certainty as a child would approach its own mother.
