“I stepped away.” Bruce’s voice was dangerously flat. “I was gone for less than ten minutes.”
“Ten minutes is a lifetime in space battles, Spooky. You know what? I don’t care. I just flew, like, seventeen light-years and mediated an alien war. My spine is killing me. Find another seat.”
“There is no other seat.”
“There’s a whole room of—" Hal looked around. For the first time, his sleep-deprived brain actually registered the designs. “Oh.”
“Move.”
“No.”
“Lantern.”
“Nope. Nope nope nope.”
or the one where a furniture mishap leaves exactly one good seat in the Watchtower lounge, Hal won't give it up, Bruce won't back down, and somewhere in three weeks of stubborn proximity, they both stop wanting the space and start wanting each other.

The sounds grew louder. Geto shifted his head to stare at the door. His skin prickled with anticipation. There was a loud slam followed by the crumbling of concrete. Then there was a tense silence.
“Good luck being delirious,” Gojo snipped.
“Good luck being a girl,” Geto replied under his breath. A second later the door came flying open. It ripped away from its rusted hinges, falling flat against the ground.
