Not your apartments, not your bedrooms, not anything that looks like it belongs in a Pinterest board or on TikTok. I’m talking chairs, tables, lighting, maybe some storage, and functional decor. Functional.”
Ilya is immediately behind him, arms crossed, shaking his head, eyebrows raised, and making faces that scream: this is going to be a disaster. Every time Shane emphasizes a word, Ilya mirrors him silently, making exaggerated gestures, like he’s mocking a very serious, very unfunny performance.
Bood leans on Barrett and whispers, “Is he actually serious?”
Barrett snickers. “Looks serious, but we all know the chaos is inevitable."
