Nagi brought his hand to Reo’s face, brushing his cheek. Those grey eyes locked on his, captivating as ever.
If they were just friends, why did Reo’s skin alight with a thousand sparks at Nagi’s touch? Why did he trust him so much that he closed his eyes, letting down his guard, letting the warmth of Nagi’s touch wash over him, warming his heart?
If they were just friends, why did Reo let Nagi past his defences? Why could he so easily let him brush his hair aside to tie the white bandana assassin‑style around his face? Why did his eyes flutter shut at the ghost of Nagi’s touch lingering on his skin?
If they were just friends, why was that unexplainable feeling rising in Reo again? He couldn’t stop it; he didn’t want to. He wanted Nagi to never move away, to stay locked in this precious moment forever.

Charles supposed he’d faint as well if he saw the Great and Honourable Dictator Loki in the flesh for the first time ever.
“But where do the others go?” he asked Hugo, who was standing behind him.
“We take them to where they are suitable,” his other father replied.
“Then why can’t I go there too?” Charles questioned, curious. “Is it fun?”
Loki’s laughter echoed around the room, with a confusingly dark undertone.
“Oh, Charles. Believe me, you do not want to go there.”
