"I - I don't know the first thing about Aphrodite-"
"My mother was born of sea foam," Silena cut him off. "And if you're really who I think you are... you are the sea. You can pull this off," she said and touched his cheek. "Get the bolt. Survive," she said. Percy swallowed.
"What if I can't act the part?" He asked. Silena's expression went blank for a moment. Slowly, she slipped off her bracelet and placed it in his hands.
"If you're going to be one of us... you better learn."

Summary
Aizawa doesn't want to believe that the deadly new street drug he's been investigating is the result of genetic experimentation on a child, but reality never caters to his preferences. After being diagnosed quirkless for years, Izuku Midoriya finally manifests a quirk--a dangerous and destructive quirk that lands him in the hands of Chisaki Kai. His life becomes a living hell until a certain underground hero decides he's worth saving, despite Izuku's own protests otherwise.
Katsuki Bakugo is still mourning the death of his childhood friend, struggling with the heavy guilt over how he treated him. Accepted to UA, he's moving quickly toward his goal to be the best hero; but he still can't seem to forget Deku. The last thing he expects to find at his new school is the ghost of his past.
After Aizawa rescues Izuku and takes him in, the two of them as well as Katsuki find themselves working to build something new. And as the League of Villains starts to dig its roots into society, Izuku can't help but wonder if maybe his quirk has a purpose after all.

Summary
Jinshi has always sparkled for others, but Maomao has never been mesmerized by it. It was just another thing she was immune to. Now here he was, not particularly sparkly, just obviously in love, and Maomao felt what she could only describe as being enraptured.
Maomao knew she needed to say thank you, but at this moment she did not trust her tongue with words. She was afraid something rather mushy would come to her if she tried to speak, and she wasn’t ready for that yet. Which felt silly to acknowledge - that she had married this man, but was struggling to love him.
And it was not loving him - Maomao had deduced this now. It had almost nothing to do with Jinshi at all. Her constipation with regards to her own ability to love had nothing to do with her commitment to him, either. She cared for and admired him deeply, more than she had anyone else, except maybe Loumen. Maomao hopes someday she is able to admit that to him, but she is still accepting that it is even safe to admit to herself.

It's been more than a decade since John died, and a lot has changed: Mary is alive, Sam and Dean have what passes for a proper home in the Men of Letters Bunker, and they're living with angels. John doesn't know angels are real, he doesn't know about the fragile new relationship between Dean and Castiel, and most of all, he doesn't know that Dean said yes to Michael, or that Dean's plan to defeat Michael would send him to a fate worse than death.

Summary
Dean is fragile—like the silence that has made home in his throat. Sometimes, in the dead of the night, when it’s just him and his cold, dark and empty room, Dean would reach up and feel his own face—a baseless need to make sure he hasn’t turned into mist or whatever. It’s not that Dean’s lost his voice or anything—he can feel it down in his throat, though it’s rattling in his chest, stuck and unmoving. Every time he tries to speak, the weight of each word presses down on his chest until he feels his ribs ache, like he’s having compressions done on him and his bones are starting to cave under the pressure. There’s something vaguely familiar about this feeling—an urge to make himself as small as he can until he sinks into the walls. Everything around him feels out of place, and a size bigger—the bunker, his room, his own skin—with too many empty spaces like an ill-fitting suit. He could pull a few words out of his throat if he pushes hard enough, but Dean’s so goddamn exhausted.
But, even when he feels like a shadow of who he used to be, Cas is still the one thing that makes him feel more alive than his own burdened beating heart.

Out the back of a gas station, Dean hurls inbetween two drags of a cigarette. His fingers shake and his white shirt glows in the darkness, which makes him think of Cas. He doesn’t like that. Doesn’t want to compare or even think about Cas and Michael in the same sentence, because Cas was different: Cas saved him. Looked after him and cared for him like a lover, healed Dean’s ears and his shitty joints for no reason other than making Dean’s life a little easier. But Dean doesn’t feel saved, right now. He just feels used.
