Summary
As he gains his footing back, and looks up at Mike, the other is staring at him wide eyed- something is wrong. He's not smiling, his mouth slightly agape, eyes dark, yellowish blue-green marks now covering multiple parts of his body and clothes while his blue hands are all over him. One on his waist, another on his wrist, holding him close enough to be- too close.
Upon comprehending this, Will feels like he could faint in an instant.
„You are pretty like this” Mike states as a matter of fact, eyes hazy, dark hair messy and hands tight around Will. Eyes moving rapidly, fixating on his eyes, his cheeks, nose, eyebrows, lips. Then they stay there.
OR: inspired by that one episode from SKAM france– byler paint fight making out :) BUT with a reasonable intro too

Which isn’t the problem; Mike can take damage like a champ and Will’s an expert at healing.
The problem is that they’re both madly in love with each other and too cowardly to admit it.

Summary
Mike knows there's nothing in this world that can stop him from leaning towards Will; he orbits the existence of the newest Warlock. The only thing more disconcerting than Will's presence was his absence; Mike would go crazy if he didn't see Will's purple clothes walk through that door now.
He would go crazy if he stayed away from Will Byers for another minute.

Summary
It takes one, two, three seconds before Will’s heart starts beating again. And another three before he remembers to be mad at him about it. “Don’t call me that,” he protests weakly, but it’s no use. Mike’s grin only grows.
“Anything for you, Your Highness.”
“Michael,” Will hisses, yanking his hand away, but Mike is already laughing. It’s always been easy to get a rise out of him where Mike is involved, which is a fact Mike not only knows, but exploits on the regular. “I’m going to put the venom back in your arm and let your flesh rot off your body.”
Will really wishes Mike would learn that armor does not equate to invincibility. For Mike's own sake, it's probably a good thing Will knows magic.

Summary
Summer break, two years after graduating high school. Will and Mike almost kiss, and everything changes. They find themselves on a journey together after a mysterious clue. They have no choice but to finally confront what’s been going on between them for years.
“I keep showing up,” Mike says. His voice doesn’t break, but he feels like it should. “Even when you try to throw me away.”
Will flinches, and Mike hates himself for it immediately.
“I didn’t- ” Will says, and his eyes drop. “I didn’t throw you away.”

Summary
At first, Mike was unsure how to approach him when he got like this. But they’ve been living together for months now, never further than five feet apart in their dorm beds, so Mike’s learned what works and what doesn’t.
It works when he wakes Will like this, with gentle hands and words, telling him he’s safe. It works when he climbs into Will’s warm bed, turning him on his side and curling up against his back, an arm over his waist and his cheek pressed against his shoulder. They lie together like that until Will’s hiccupping gasps soften into steady breaths, until Mike feels him go limp in his arms and he knows he’s fallen back asleep. It always works.
or: Will has nightmares and Mike is the only one who can console him. Not even Will's boyfriend can. Mike takes great pride in this fact.
