“No, but thank you,” Shane says first before Ilya is looking at him with puppy dog eyes. “Ilya, no.”
“Shane, yes,” Ilya smiles. “It will be great bonding moment, yes?”
OR
Shane smokes weed for the first time and has no issues with loving up on his husband in front of their friends.

Summary
“The Centaur's plane is currently on fire,"
Hayden would like to think he’d seen all the sides of Shane Hollander. He’d seen him as the ‘Hockey-Robot’, seen him as brother Shane, his children’s Uncle Shane. Hayden had also been granted the privilege of seeing him in-love.
Unfortunately, looking at Shane right now- devastated, and terrified, with something dangerous and unhinged glinting in his eyes, Hayden was unsure how to proceed.
"That's not fucking funny Boiziau," his friend’s voice was cold and utterly unfamiliar in his ears, he can see Shane’s shoulders, tense and coiled, like a snake ready to pounce on its prey.
-
A fic in which Shane sees Ilya’s messages mid-game and decides that nothing else mattered but Ilya Rozanov. (From an outsider's point of view, Shane was going feral, but Shane was actually just trying really hard not to fall apart until he finds Ilya.)

Summary
When J.J. had learned that Shane was starting a foundation with Rozanov after seeing first-hand the soft and yearning look Shane gave his venture partner when he thought nobody was watching, it quickly became one of the reasons he was initially hesitant to support his dear friend’s ventures, amongst other things. (If you asked him if that was the reason why J.J. had made sure to check the Russian (as legally as he could) extra hard whenever they played with each other, he will neither confirm nor deny.)
It’s never been clearer to him than right now that this has gone beyond a crush.
Shane Hollander was in love with Ilya fucking Rozanov.
Ciboire. What a mess.

Summary
“You don’t have to.” Ilya whispers.
“What?”
“Love me. You don’t have to. To say it, you can move on, you can find someone better, you don’t have to.” he says. “I am. . . not good.” he settles on after trying to find the right words in his mind.

Summary
“If it ever gets bad,” he’d said quietly, eyes serious in a way that made Ilya’s chest ache, “you call me. Or you call my parents. You don’t get to drown by yourself anymore. They love you. I love you and that’s not conditional.”
Ilya had brushed it off at first. He always did. “I am not drowning.”
Shane had just tilted his head. “Promise me anyway.”
And because it was Shane, because the word promise meant something sacred to him, Ilya had nodded.
“I promise.”
