Summary
Dr. Ratio was chosen as part of the delegation sent to Xianzhou Loufu to clear IPC’s name following the Borisin Robot attack. His decision to accept the mission was largely motivated by the fact that Ruan Mei, Member #81 of the Genius Society, was currently in Loufu.
When they met, Ruan Mei presented him with a risky experiment and asked him to be her subject. He should have walked away from the offer; only an idiot would want to become entangled with her.
Yet, Dr. Ratio decided to accept it. However, they had no idea that their decision would lead to an unpredictable event that would change everything between them.
