Summary
After years imprisoned, Princess Azula vanishes into the Forgetful Valley. Fire Lord Zuko sends Suki and the Kyoshi Warriors to bring her back, dead or alive.
Two years of fruitless searching leave Suki haunted by failure, her determination curdling into obsession. When Zuko pulls her from the mission and sends her to Ember Island under the guise of rest, she finds herself adrift. Then she meets Natsumi, a stranger far removed from the war, beautiful and steady in ways Suki no longer feels she deserves.

Summary
Things were a bit intense with Akito. Things had always been intense with Akito, Tohru wasn't sure how they could not be between the two girls whose connection had resulted in the final death of God.
Tohru looked back at Akito where she was sitting in the sand, knees to her chest. She could feel Akito's eyes on her.
So, yes. Things had been intense. It was like there was some sort of weird tension. She couldn't put her finger on what was off, but Tohru was at her best when she had a problem to fix. Now she'd set it up so she had a whole weekend alone with Akito to puzzle it out!
Problem was, Tohru didn't know what sort of piece she was even looking for.

A year after the curse breaks, Tohru and Akito return to the beach house.

Summary
Monstruous was the adjective she had used when describing the six. Monstruos would be the one used for herself by those that warned of evil spirits to kids trying their best to live in a place about to disappear beneath the sound of soldiers sent by men powerful enough to believe themselves gods as opposed to parasites. She had found comfort on the term, had found solace in the idea of the mask being one and the same.
And yet.
